Full Dope Drink Review

We’re excited to try our first DOPE. A new thc-infused drink on the market with South African roots, and three hydrating flavors of sparkling spring water. Today we’re diving in Dope Pineapple, which comes in a bold 16oz can. Let’s see how dope these drinks really are.

Upon opening we’re greeted by a lovely smell of pineapple. It smells really good, like we’re about to drink a juicy tropical pineapple beverage. There’s a nice burst of bubbles on pouring and the aroma holds nicely as we sip away. Dope Pineapple is fairly clear in color, which is often the case with sparkling waters but we do wish there was a little more color given the flavor.

Our first sip could quench any thirst as it’s very refreshing. It’s an enjoyable pineapple flavor, although the taste is not as strong as the aroma. There’s nothing complex here, this is a flavored pineapple spring water that’s smooth and easy to drink.

The refreshing taste of Dope Pineapple is perfect for a warm summer day. We could easily have a few in one sitting, and you’re sure to see others enjoying it over lunch, or around a braai (South African for grill).

With a 1:1 ratio of 5mg THC and 5mg CBD, this is a solid choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-drink, sessionable beverage. And with just 20 calories and 6g of sugar in each 16oz can, a much better alternative to alcohol.

We don’t typically call out the outer packaging as there’s little to write about, as most brands use plain boxes to transport their drinks around the country.
