Today we’re trying our first Creek Water Botanical Sparkling beverage from Von Kooi Family Farms. We’re immediately drawn to the brand’s ethos: Von Kooi’s farm-to-table approach brings together hemp and hops grown on their land in California. They promote high-quality products, wellness and healthy living. No isolates or lab made cannabinoids are used in any of their drinks.

Some of their messaging that caught our eye: “With every sip, you’ll be tasting a piece of our land and our passion for natural cultivation” and “This is more than a drink; it’s a vibrant journey towards relaxation.” Really nice! With so many similar brands on the market, they really do differentiate.

Upon opening Creek Water Botanical Lavender Lemon, a wave of fresh lavender and a touch of fruity aroma sweetness immediately entices the senses. You could easily drink this straight from the can, but we chose to enjoy ours over ice in a glass. On pouring there is a burst of lovely bubbles with a pearl white hue.

The first sip is a botanical blend of lavender with a hint of lemon and a hoppy finish. The added Mosaic Hop Essence imparts a unique blend of berry, mango, and floral flavors. It’s an enjoyable, complex flavor for a sparkling beverage that’s earthy and floral all wrapped together. With each sip, this grows on us more and more.

Creek Water Botanical Lavender Lemon is refreshingly easy to drink, and the alluring aroma persists from first sip to last. While a slight dry aftertaste lingers, it doesn’t detract from the overall pleasant experience.
