Full Pabst Drink Review
When we picked up our first can, we liked the artwork… the drink looks appealing. On opening, your nose is met with a lovely hint of guava. And when you pour your first drink it looks intriguing with a light, yellow color. We’re ready to go!
Unfortunately, it’s mainly downhill from here. There is a big disconnect between the smell of the drink and the taste. It doesn’t taste much like guava (at least the ones we’ve had). The flavor is hard to explain, it’s somewhere between a vitamin drink and something synthetic. It’s just not great. Maybe this is an acquired taste but we struggled to finish this in one session. As we had more sips the drink got slightly better.
The THC dosage is also interesting in this drink. There’s the usual 10mg THC and then an additional 5mg THCv. The latter a less common strain that supposedly is appetite-curbing, has energy-boosting properties and has less intoxicating effects vs THC. It’s hard to get the really really on THCv but we found we had a more intense and stimulating high which might be exactly what some are after but a little steep for anyone new to THC drinks.
Pabst High Seltzer Guava describes the drink on the can as ‘Uplifting’, ‘Energy’, and ‘Daytime High’. We just wanted to take a nap after drinking this one so we’re not so sure about these benefits. It’s definitely a different kind of buzz as described on the can, which if you’ve tried many THC drinks before and are looking for something more stimulating this could be a good choice – the high is more intense.
We’re looking forward to trying many of the other flavors from Pabst as hopefully they’ll be a little better than the Guava.
A more intense and stimulating high
